What was the impact of the Columbian exchange in society? From the perspective of a citizen in Europe during the 15th and 6th centuries.
The Columbian Exchange has helped Europe people a lot. The reason for this is that we now can taste different types of food rather than are food. The food that I was eating were wonderful and they were coming on boats that my dad told me were coming from the new world( Americas).
My family is enjoying the new foods as well as me, we were getting tired of all the potatoes and rice that I almost stopped eating period. Now it seems I cant stop eating. But after a while we could not buy the foods any more because how much money they started costing, so we were limited to only so of the the new food, but I guess that's better than eating rice and potatoes all the time.
The Columbian Exchange also brought a lot of cool stuff back like compasses witch look really cool but I didn't know what it was used for so I started asking around and the only response I got was 'I don't know'. Until I got enough courage to ask the captain and he told me that it was for the crew to navigate what direction the were heading.
As more and more ships came in I started to notice that there were black men coming of the ship, and I asked my dad and he said there were slave. what are they used for my dad said the are used for big plantations, and some help capture them so they don't have to work in the plantations.
Exploration, trade, and colonization spread across the world. Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch, and English were all becoming part of the language overseas, and most of are now becoming global languages. the maps from east to west were starting to get better and better.
Columbia Exchange gave us a great new boost into the future and gave some great benefits. The New World was having trouble, they could not seem to keeping there products and goods for themselves because we were always taking we set up pots over in the new world to keep control of our area from witch we get are food. Also we were starting to take others villages to expand our culture and are way of life. Population were decreasing in the new world an in the old we started to thrive in how are population grew.
