The Columbian Exchange was by far possible one of the greatest events to benefit the Old World. One of the benefits of the Columbian exchange was the import of various foods such as potatoes and turnips. With the new foods the European community’s began to grow. The population increase provided European merchants with more business thus creating profit which led to great wealth. This helped the population grow even larger and have wealthy happy people. The Columbian exchange introduced loads of new products and tools which helped the Old World achieve bigger and better things. The Columbian exchange has introduced so many new great things to the Old World that there is no doubt that it is one of the best things to happen!
